New website for City of Portland developed by Stephouse

The City of Portland recently selected Stephouse to create a new look for their website for the Childrens Investment Fund. We are pleased to say that the website is now live at www.childrensinvestmentfund.org.

Their website is unique in the fact that it not only needed to be an informational tool but it also needed to communicate the emotional side of their project using stories and photographs to show viewers the impact their initiative is making on the City of Portland.

Another challenge we faced in this project was that information for their website is constantly being updated and changed. We created a back end interface to the website so that city employees could easily update information, photos, calendar events, and more without contracting an outside web developer to do it. This feature has streamlined their update process and saved the city thousands of dollars in website maintenence costs.
