Stephouse Networks News: October 2013

This was a month of events and expansion for your favorite local high-speed internet service provider. We had the proud honor of being the event Wi-Fi provider of choice for a handful of Portland’s big events. We were also excited to launch a new Portland internet access site, increasing our network coverage.

Thank you for the event opportunities.

We appreciate the support and trust in being Portland’s premiere high-speed Event Wi-Fi provider.

  • PIE Demo Day 2013: Stephouse provided high-speed internet access to PIE Demo Day (Portland Incubator Experiment). Many startups in PIE’s current class demonstrated their offerings to a live audience over at the Gerding Theater Armory stage.
  • Delight 2013: Hosted by ISITE Design, the Delight 2013 conference shared case studies and stories about improving the customer experience from brands like Starbucks, Disney, and Starbucks.
  • RealtimeConf 2013: We were honored to provide high-speed internet service for the developers conference run by developers. RealtimeConf is where developers can meet up to discuss topics and case studies about the Open Web and realtime development.

Now serving the 97212 area.

We’re a smaller, growing company, so it’s huge news when we can announce that our coverage area is now a little larger. We’re now serving the 97212 area in Portland. Like we’ve told many community members on the phone, we’ll be reaching out to people who have shown interest to see if we can become their high-speed internet service provider.

If you’re in that area and haven’t checked us out, please let us know today.

Many of our community members have asked us about a coverage map. Since we deploy internet service wirelessly, relying upon Line of Sight (being able to see a location without a tree or building in the way), this mapping can be tricky. However, we’re working on one and hope to have some kind of map for potential customer use soon.

Bundle up and stay warm out there!
